HELP ME RAISE MONEY FOR PANCREATIC CANCER UK

Hey everyone. Some personal news to share with you all.

My dad sadly passed away at the age of 66 on January 31st 2023 after a short but aggressive battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer which has the lowest survival rate of all common cancers. 🎗

More than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months and 3 in 5 people are diagnosed at an advanced stage. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case.

I'm raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK who support people with this disease, campaign for change and fund research to transform the future.

I'm selling homemade White Rabbit miso cookies to raise money for this charity. White Rabbit candy is an iconic Chinese chewy milk sweet which always reminds me of childhood. I used to help myself to these after school back when my parents owned KH Oriental supermarket.

My dad plays a big part in why I'm such a big foodie and his love language has always been cooking for me - This is something I'm really going to miss. He will be missed by many people, local and afar, especially as he was a well-known man in the Chinese community. He was taken from us far too soon but at least we can take comfort in the fact that he is no longer suffering.

I'm also hosting a raffle to help raise more money and some incredible prizes have already been kindly offered - Please get in touch if you're happy to donate a prize for a great cause!
